Marie-Eve Tremblay
Dr. Marie-Ève Tremblay is a Full Professor at the Division of Medical Sciences, University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She was awarded a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Neurobiology of Aging and Cognition until 2025. Dr. Tremblay is an internationally recognized leader in microglial research. Her career goal is to become a world leader in the development of innovative therapies normalizing microglial functions upon exposure to various environmental risk factors for disease throughout life. She has been invited to present her work over 143 times, at seminars, lectures at symposia, specialized courses, and other meetings. She has 182 publications cited 11,854 times, corresponding to an h-index of 50 and i10-index of 116. She was also named a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, being among the top 1% across fields in 2021 and 2022 and is ranked 4th world microglial expert by ExpertScape.
