Amber Gayle is a Southeast Asian illustrator in Ohio with a passion for bringing colorful and expressive characters to life. She is a children's book illustrator and background artist.

Eva Wong Nava is an award-winning children's book author and an educator. She was born in Southeast Asia, a peninsular and insular landmass that is hot and humid, multicultural, and multilingual. Her favorite Southeast Asian dish is curry laksa, and her favorite Malaysian dessert is ais kacang.
