About The Author
Manju Patel
Manju’s is a family run Indian Restaurant in Brighton and is named after the matriarch of the family. Manju was taught to cook by her mother and always dreamed of owning her own restaurant cooking her family recipes. At 84 years old, Manju cooks in the restaurant that her sons opened in her honour every evening alongside her daughter-in-law and head chef Dipali. The recipes in this book have been put together by Dipali and Manju’s sons based on their mother’s recipes.
