Maggie Mason
Mary Wood was born the thirteenth of fifteen children and has held various factory, office, and home-based jobs. She eventually became a probation service officer before retiring. Mary married in 1963 to her husband Roy, and they have four children, eight grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren. She received her first book deal in 2013.
