Lyle J. Micheli, M.D., former president of the American College of Sports Medicine, is director of sports medicine at Children’s Hospital in Boston and associate clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School. He also serves as orthopedist for the Boston Ballet and the American Rugby Association.
Mark Jenkins has written articles on sports for The Atlantic Monthly, The Wall Street Journal, and American Heritage.
