Louise Simmers received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland and a Masters degree in Education from Kent State University. She has worked as a public health nurse, a medical-surgical nurse, coronary care nurse and an instructor of Practical Nursing and Diversified Health Occupations.
