Lottie Muir is the creator of the Midnight Apothecary pop-up cocktail bar, set in a roof garden in the heart of London, where she also grows many of the ingredients for her mixes. The book features The Cocktail Cabinet, where Lottie explains both gardening and cocktail-making basics. She tells you what botanicals you will need year-round, including edible flowers. She also introduces you to basic equipment and techniques for making infusions and syrups as well as cocktails, and suggests garnishes. Lottie Muir is a gardener by day, and a botanical-cocktail mixologist by night. Her work has featured in Vogue magazine, and the first edition of Wild Cocktails from the Midnight Apothecary won the accolade of Best Debut Drink Book at the 2016 Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards. Lottie is also the author of Wild Mocktails, and she lives in south-east London.
