About The Author

Liz Truss

Liz Truss served as the 56th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

As Prime Minister, she led the country through the national mourning for Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III. Her government pursued a bold agenda of tax cuts, energy security, and supply-side reform aimed at restoring growth and reducing the size of the state.

Prior to that, she served as Foreign Secretary and held ministerial office continuously from 2012 to 2022, as Trade Secretary and President of the Board of Trade, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Lord Chancellor, Environment Secretary, and Education Minister. She was the Conservative Member of Parliament for South West Norfolk from 2010 to 2024.

She is the author of Sunday Times best-seller Ten Years to Save the West and hosts The Liz Truss Show.
