About The Author
Liu Shanshan
- Liu Shanshan is an Associate Professor at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. She received her Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. Her research interests lie in architectural and garden history, with an emphasis on the use of visual materials such as paintings. She has led national research projects, published over 40 papers, and authored seven monographs.
- Huang Xiao is an Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Forestry University. He earned his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. His specialization is in the history and theory of landscape architecture, with a particular focus on the interdisciplinary study of garden paintings and historical gardens. He has published multiple monographs, led National Natural Science Foundation projects, and received several academic awards.
