Voting is cool!Eager, wide-eyed, diminutive students are voting today-to visit the museum or the zoo. They note Election Day on the calendar, “register,” engage in campaigning and debate, and, of course, cast their ballots in makeshift boxes. All these exciting activities are narrated to the jaunty rhythm of the iconic finger game “This Little Piggy.” The good news is adults will share this board book with young audiences-and have a lot of explaining to do-and, hopefully, be reminded to perform their civic duty themselves.
