What They're Saying

Critics Review

“A spectrum of projects from makers who generously invite us into their art practice. Besides the genius art ideas, the style and beauty of this book is worth it just on its own.” -Josie Lewis, author of The New Color Mixing Companion “I came for the delightful array of DIY projects, all of which you will want to learn, but what stayed with me the most is Lisa Solomon’s clarion call to reexamine the artificial hierarchy dividing art and craft. One of the best, most thoughtful essays on this centuries-long debate I have ever read.” - Windy Chien, author of The Year of Knots“If I were given a quiet retreat with just myself and a box of craft supplies, Art Craft Color is the one book I’d bring along. Every project feels like pure play–joyful, experimental, and full of possibility.” -Blair Stocker, author of Wise Craft and Wise Craft Quilts
