Critics Review

“Febre’s best work! Cancer came for the author in the first book, and hid from her in the second. Now it’s part of her life and Febre’s whispering back-‘I’m coming for you, Cancer…’” -Cam Torrens, bestselling author of the Tyler Zahn mystery/suspense series

“This frank and beautifully written memoir evokes many feelings in the reader: empathy, sadness, hope, fear, surprise, admiration… but never pity. Febre’s courage shines so brightly through the writing, you feel her strength gripping and guiding you through the story whether you’re crying, laughing, or shaking your head and wondering what’s next. Five enthusiastic stars!” -Ruth F. Stevens, award-winning author of My Year of Casual Acquaintances
