About The Author
Lisa Bowman-Bowen
Lisa Bowman-Bowen is an assistant professor of criminal justice and lead faculty of criminal services programs at Coastal Bend College. She holds a Ph.D. in criminal justice and criminology from Sam Houston State University and a master’s degree in criminology from Indiana State University. Dr. Bowman-Bowen has extensive field experience, including working on specialized prosecutorial projects and investigation cases, and teaching within a men’s maximum-security prison program. Her research focuses on relevant theory and administration of criminal justice, specifically organizational management and ethics, forensic science crime scene analysis and strategies, and youth-related violence.
