Told in rhyming prose, this story weaves through a typical day of a fire fighter where they rescue animals, do drills, educate children and tackle both forest and business fires. The illustrations are a beautiful colour palette and, as you can see, the pops of red and yellow are so striking! It has some great exploration of sound in the language too and would be great for pre-phonics environmental sound work. A fun and aspirational book for young children!
