About The Author
Leigh Perkins
Leigh Perkins was CEO of the Orvis Company from 1965 to 1992. After 1992, he devoted his efforts to a variety of conservation causes and divided his time among homes in Vermont, Florida, and Wyoming. Mr. Perkins passed away in 2021.
Geoffrey Norman is the author of nine books. He is currently a contributing editor at Forbes FYI and writes frequently about the sporting life for a variety of magazines.
