She was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2006 from the University of Nottingham for research into the role of phosphodiesterase inhibitors in anal sphincter function. Nyree undertook higher specialist training in radiology at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital between 2002 and 2006. She subsequently completed a one-year cross-sectional fellowship at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
