Lawrence Lee
Lawrence Lee is a Medicare professional and registered Insurance Continuing Education (CE) Provider in multiple states. He has twenty years of corporate insurance strategy and training experience in Korea and the United States.
He began his career in Medicare as a teacher of agents and soon became the person those agents called when they encountered a case no one else could solve. These difficult cases almost always originated from immigrant families attempting to navigate a system not designed with them in mind. This observation shaped his life’s work.
Lawrence recognized that there are essentially two Medicare systems: the familiar one for lifelong U.S. seniors, and a second, more challenging territory defined by residence clocks, sponsor rules, waiting periods, and public-charge fears, where expert assistance is rare and reliable resources are almost nonexistent. This book is his effort to bridge that divide.
As a registered CE Provider and instructor, he trains agents of all experience levels to understand not only the procedures but also the underlying reasons for each component of the Medicare system and how to navigate it ethically with genuine cultural awareness. Through a weekly webinar series on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, he keeps hundreds of agents updated in a rapidly evolving field.
His core belief is straightforward: when advisors fully grasp the entire system, particularly its complexities for immigrant seniors, they transition from simply selling plans to becoming advocates for the communities that require their support the most.
Lawrence is the founder of New American Family Advisors.
