Once again, Luke is called to the penitentiary, though for once the Daltons haven't escaped. They have, however, just learned that their cousin Emmett, last survivor of the original Dalton gang, has a son - and that Averell was chosen as his godfather! Now Lucky Luke has to accompany the dumbest bandits in the West to the young boy's house, as Averell has been temporarily entrusted with his education. Famous in France for his talent as an impressionist and his humorous one-man shows, LaurentGerra is also a writer - of his own shows, of course, but also of various political comics and three episodes of Lucky Luke. One of those with Jacques Pessis, a radio, television and paper press journalist, but also producer, writer, director and lecturer! Achdébegan drawing comics at age three and has never stopped. Creator of such series as CRS=détresse and Woker (with Widenlocher), he eventually fulfilled a childhood dream when he was asked to take over as artist for Lucky Luke.
