Laurent de Wilde
Laurent de Wilde graduated in Philosophy and moved to New York in his twenties to study jazz. Now a renowned pianist, he participated in his music’s electronic revolution at the end of the 90s. He is still performing and recording, both in an acoustic context and with electronic bands. De Wilde also wrote a book about jazz pianist Thelonious Monk, titled Monk, published by Gallimard in 1996, which has been translated into several languages.
