Laurel Goodluck writes picture books that reflect Native children’s cultural experiences and everyday life, showing Native children that they have a perspective that is unique and powerful. She is the author of Forever Cousins and Rock Your Mocs. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Laurel comes from an intertribal background of Mandan and Hidatsa from the prairies of North Dakota and Tsimshian from a rainforest in Alaska. She now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her Navajo husband, where they raised two children also bent on storytelling in journalism and acting.

Gillian Flint is an illustrator who has a passion for painting in watercolors. She has been drawing and creating characters for as long as she can remember. Her work has been published in the USA, the UK and Australia. In her spare time she enjoys reading and gardening at her home in the UK.

Alexandra Boiger has illustrated nearly twenty picture books, including the She Persisted series by Chelsea Clinton; the popular Tallulah series by Marilyn Singer; and the Max and Marla books, which she also wrote. Originally from Munich, Germany, she now lives outside of San Francisco, California, with her husband, Andrea; daughter, Vanessa; and two cats, Luiso and Winter.
