Dr. Laura Kounine is Associate Professor of Early Modern History at the University of Sussex. She is the author of Imagining the Witch: Emotions, Gender, and Selfhood in Early Modern Germany (Oxford University Press) and is the co-editor of Emotions in the History of Witchcraft (Palgrave) and the forthcoming The Cambridge Companion to the Witch.
