About The Author
Laura Jane Clark
Laura Jane Clark is an architect and designer specialising in innovative home design, renovation and new-build houses. Cutting her teeth as a labourer on construction sites when she was an architect student, Laura’s passion and understanding for building and making shines through in her work. As one of the architect presenters on BBC’s Your Home Made Perfect, Laura started her television career when she was featured on the first ever episode of Channel 4’s George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces with her Crystal Palace underground-toilet conversion and then regularly featured on the series, as well as on Shed of the Year and Ugly House to Lovely House. In 2020, Laura founded Siren Sister, uniting a diverse network of female architects, interior designers, artists and stylists to bring more representation to our screens and media.
Laura has dedicated her career to home design, working on over 400 projects large and small in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
