What They're Saying

Critics Review

Silver’s Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is an excellent introduction to the topic and provides the reader with an appreciation of the complexity of this disorder and its treatment.

– Jack A. Naglieri, Ph.D. * Attention *

It should be a standard text in staff rooms of schools and in relevant clinics and general medical practices across the world, with a relevant section on that country’s law. Larry B. Silver’s book is on the whole a useful edition to the growing literature that is available on ADHD.

* Metapsychology Online Book Reviews *

This book is well written, both in its language and its organizing principles. Included are the expected reviews of diagnostic criteria and current medications. However, Dr. Silver weaves this information into a broader context of social, family, and educational issues.

– Marc Sandrolini, M.D. * Doody’s Book Reviews *

Dr. Silver, a well-known clinician and author in the field of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) continues to make tireless efforts to contribute to a greater understanding of this illness… This is the third edition of this book, and the updates include recent research findings and the latest information on treatment in both children and adults.
