Kristin Hoffman

Kristin Hoffman, also known as “Baker Bettie,” is a trained chef, baking science geek, and the baking instructor at Baker Bettie. Kristin’s approach to baking is to teach foundational recipes, baking techniques, and approachable baking science. Her belief is that gaining an understanding of the processes and the “whys” in baking helps foster confidence in the kitchen. She teaches workshops in Chicago & the surrounding areas along with private classes and corporate events.

Sally is a mother, baker, blogger, author, and food photographer. She started Sally’s Baking Addiction in 2011 as a personal blog. Her small hobby blog quickly ignited a passion for food photography as well as a desire to teach others…not just what to bake, but how to bake. Just a year and a half after launching the blog, Sally quit her full-time job to build Sally’s Baking Addiction into the business it is today. She has written, photographed, and published more than a thousand from-scratch recipes and written three cookbooks.
