About the Author

Hong Kong-American Kristen Lee is an award-winning senior features editor at MotorTrend. She's worked at The Drive, Business Insider, Jalopnik and Road & Track. Her other writing and photography have appeared in The Motoring Journal and she's made appearances on Fox, Jay Leno's Garage, Good Morning America, The Smoking Tire Podcast, Fusion's Car vs. America, NBCSN's /DRIVE and MotorTrend OnDemand's Shift Talkers.

Martin Stanev is a children's book illustrator whose debut picture book The Planet in a Pickle Jar was selected by The Guardian as a Best Children's Book of 2021. Originally from Bulgaria, Martin now lives in the Lake District in the north of England where you'll find him hiking and observing nature that he brings back into the studio.
