What They're Saying
Critics Review
“Expertly matches the art style and atmosphere of Nomura’s original series, while Kaneshiro gives fans and new readers a satisfying look into a different team of the Blue Lock program… an intense sports series for fans of Wind Breaker or Kuroko’s Basketball.” –Booklist“Nagi became a crowd favorite in his few scenes throughout the original Blue Lock series, and the unlikely chemistry of Team V makes this series thoroughly enjoyable. This storyline runs independent of the original series but also in tandem to what’s happening with Isagi’s epic. Reading them together offers maximum enjoyment but is not required in order to understand what’s happening in this series. Recommended for fans of the original and new readers alike.” –School Library Journal“A well-crafted manga… You feel the power when the ball is kicked, and the other teams are freaking scary… Coach Ego is the scariest-looking human character in years.” –Otaku USA Magazine
