About The Author
Kiah Thomas
Kiah Thomas started telling stories when she was a kid, reimagining the endings in books she read. She rediscovered her love of kids’ books when she had children of her own, and started writing beginnings as well as endings. Kiah grew up on the south coast of New South Wales and now lives in Melbourne with her husband, three children and at least nine soft-toy penguins. She is the author of the internationally published middle-grade series The Callers, and dreams of one day having more books than penguins.
Bec Kitson is an illustrator based in Northern Victoria. She loves making art that delights all ages. Bec cares deeply about celebrating, inspiring and empowering young people through her art and stories. Bec shares a home with her partner, two daughters, a chaotic but beloved garden, and a local family of magpies.
