Kevin Smith

A writer, film director, comedian, and podcast pioneer, Kevin Smith has written and directed numerous films, including Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Tusk. He is the author of Silent Bob Speaks, *Shootin’ the Sht with Kevin Smith, and the New York Times bestsellers My Boring-Ass Life and Tough Shit.

Smith also plays Silent Bob opposite Jason Mewes’ Jay. Their hands and footprints are permanently enshrined in the forecourt of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

His first film, Clerks, was added to the National Film Registry in the Library of Congress in 2019. Smith is based in Los Angeles.
