The community of Flowing Wells covers 13 square miles, partially in the city of Tucson, as well as in unincorporated Pima County, Arizona. The area was named after the bubbling water from sunken pipes at the base of Sentinel Peak (“A” Mountain) by Warren Allison. Kevin Daily, Flowing Wells School District board member since 2000, holds a bachelor of science in computer science and engineering from Northern Arizona University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona. Marie Daily received her bachelor of science in mass communications and master’s degree in early childhood education from Northern Arizona University. In 1995, they founded the Flowing Wells Neighborhood Association and Community Coalition, a nonprofit with the mission of increasing the safety and quality of life in Flowing Wells.
