About The Author
Kevin Carr
Kevin Carr is a strength and conditioning coach and manager at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning (MBSC). He is also a massage therapist and cofounder of Movement as Medicine, a massage and movement therapy clinic in Woburn, Massachusetts. Kevin is the creator of the Certified Functional Strength Coach certification. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a license in massage therapy from Cortiva Institute in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Kevin has extensive experience in sport performance and personal training from his time at MBSC. He has traveled globally, educating thousands of coaches and therapists on the MBSC coaching system. His coaching clientele ranges from U.S. Olympians seeking a competitive advantage to individuals aiming to improve their health, lose weight, and enhance movement.
