"Abba, I can't run to you. But I have incredible news. The King is alive! Run with Him!"
Living during the reign of Herod, Hatach, a father, is pulled into deep, unrelenting grief after suffering unimaginable loss. After years of loneliness and barely going through the motions, he makes new friends who strive to pull him from the grip of depression. They teach him the true meaning of friendship and forgiveness. And, over time, Hatach gains joy again as he runs alongside the true King.
Kevin Pace is a doctor who has spent more time studying biology and chemistry than literature. He found the inspiration for this story through his own walk with the Lord and love of running. He has been married to the love of his life for almost thirty years and is the father of two girls (both grown and out of the house). He lives in Alabama and spends most of his free time outside, marveling at God's creation. Lauren Hennessey, Kevin's daughter, has always loved to read and fantasize as a child about writing her own stories. She is thrilled to join her father in writing this book. Lauren is newlywed (as of this writing, January 2024) and lives in Chicago, where is still adjusting to cooler temperatures than the deep South offers.
