What They're Saying
Critics Review
“I have long dreamt of bottling Kerry’s words so others could benefit from her marvelous mind and mentorship, just as Moriah and I have. I can now truly say, “Dream Realized!”
-Joel Smallbone, 4x Grammy Award Winning Artist, for KING + COUNTRY, Actor, Director, Unsung Hero
“Kerry’s tools have helped me connect my faith with my background as a psychologist. Just one afternoon of using the tools during a personal crisis saved me hours of therapy. The Way of Becoming is a gift that can help transform you if you are ready to dive in and do the work.”
-Dr. Kathy Zakarian, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, 20+ years in college counseling.
“Kerry has always been an engaging storyteller and a fantastic public speaker, but this book shows she is an equally great writer, which is rare. What sets Kerry apart most, however, is how her stories and insights consistently change people for the better.”
-Dr. Marty Makary, Surgeon, Public Policy Expert, and 3x New York Times Bestselling Author, Unaccountable, The Price We Pay, Mama Maggie, and Blind Spots
“What Kerry has created in The Way of Becoming is based on Scripture yet outside any particular church denomination. She wants to give people what God has given her so they, too, can grow and get unstuck by applying them to their lives, and I certainly have.”
-Melodee DeVevo, Singer and Violinist, Grammy Award Winner, Casting Crowns
“This beautiful and eminently practical book, The Way of Becoming, is a treasure. Kerry writes with the urgency, sensitivity, and clarity of a heart undone by the deep things of God. She’s a true friend of Jesus, and her words speak of a lifetime spent cultivating His presence and walking in His love and wisdom.”
-Akhtar Shah and Sarah Belcher - The Foundry, Kingdom Embassy, U.K.
“After sitting under Kerry’s teaching at two retreats, I wondered, “How could the table be set for such a feast on God’s Word? How can I have this every day?” As I began to read The Way of Becoming, I started in the chapter called Imagine, and straightaway, that same feast of spirit and wonder rose before my eyes, and the Lord filled my heart with joy and gratitude.”
–Mandii Erwin, mother of three and wife to Andy Erwin, Kingdom Story Company
“The Way of Becoming is simply brilliant! Its brilliance stems not from Kerry’s exceptional talent but from what God carried her through and revealed to her. The candid narrative, the divine teachings, and the profound tools of encouragement are a must-read for a generation stuck on their journey toward the Divine.”
-Mark Stuart, 2x Grammy Award Winning Artist, Audio Adrenaline, Author, Losing My Voice to Find It.
“It gives me great joy knowing The Way of Becoming will impact people across the globe just as it has impacted me. Kerry is one of the strongest, most enduring humans I have ever known, and if I had even an ounce of her endurance, I would win every race on the planet.”
-Sally McRae, Professional Ultra-Mountain Runner, Speaker, and Author, Choose Strong
