About The Author
Kendall Coyne
Kendall Coyne Schofield is the captain of the back-to-back Walter Cup Champion Minnesota Frost of the Professional Women’s Hockey League. She has been a member of Team USA for nearly two decades, winning 26 medals in international competition, including Olympic gold and silver medals. In 2019, she became the first woman to compete in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition, finishing less than a second behind the winner, Connor McDavid, in the fastest skater competition. Kendall lives in Orland Park, Illinois, with her husband, NFL veteran and 2016 Super Bowl Champion Michael Schofield, their son, Drew, and their dogs Blue and Penny.
Estelle Laure believes in love and magic and the power of facing hard truths. She has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts and thinks everyone should have to wait tables or work in a kitchen at least once in their lives. She lives in Taos, New Mexico, with her family.
