About The Author
Kazuki Takahashi
Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, first attempted a career in manga in 1982. However, it wasn’t until Yu-Gi-Oh! premiered in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump in 1996 that he achieved widespread recognition.
The series’ exploration of friendship and competition, combined with Takahashi’s distinctive artistic style, led to immense popularity. This success spawned a real-world trading card game, various video games, and six anime adaptations: two original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, and Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V.
