Katrina Germein
Katrina Germein is a best-selling children’s author. Her much-loved titles have been published around the world and include Before You Were Born and My Dad Thinks He’s Funny, which was Highly Commended in the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards. Katrina recently released her first non-fiction picture book Wonderful Wasps as well as her first sing-along story One Little Duck. She is the winner of a Speech Pathology Book of the Year Award and a Crystal Kite Award. Bev and Kev is currently shortlisted in the CBCA Book of the Year Awards.
Karen Blair grew up in Perth, Western Australia, enjoying a childhood of playing, imagining and drawing with her brother and sister. She made her first picture book when she was 9 for a year 5 project, and by the time she was in her 20s and living in the UK, she knew it was her dream. She now lives in Fremantle with her husband and two cats. Karen work part time as a primary art teacher in a boys’ school, and part time illustrating and writing from her studio at home.
