Critics Review
Praise for Once Upon a Slime
★ “Winningly gross-out illustrations punctuate a pastel, decorum-filled world of classic fairy tale animation with Nickelodeon-level slime drops that land hilariously every time … Moving at a clip that’s anything but a snail’s pace, this laugh-out-loud fairy tale—“where a snail can prevail!”—is fractured in every way but its happy ending.”–Publishers Weekly, starred review
“Finally, a kids’ book has the courage to say it: Fairy tales need more snails!… A wacky and welcome addition to the fractured-fairy-tale genre.”–Kirkus Reviews
