About The Author

Kate Peridot

Kate Peridot writes fiction and non-fiction, and likes to imaginatively blend the two to create immersive books. Kate comes from a family of space nerds and interstellar dreamers. She watches live rocket launches and landings with an awe she’d like to share with readers. She hopes to inspire and prove to children that working in the space tech industry is not an impossible dream.

Denis Freitas is an illustrator and graphic designer from São Paulo, Brazil. He has always loved cartoons and comic books, and he started reproducing the characters he liked the most and acquiring knowledge of his own through books, magazines, and practicing observation drawing.
