About The Author
Karimah Cornelius-Stith
Karimah C. Stith is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), AASECT-certified sex therapist, and a certified specialist in anger management with more than 20 years of experience in guiding individuals and couples through the challenges of relationship dynamics. As the practice owner of New Reflections Therapeutic Services, she has cultivated a space for healing, growth, and emotional connection.
Karimah is a dedicated Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, mentoring emerging clinicians and helping them enhance their therapeutic skills. She has presented at marriage retreats, national conferences, and podcasts, where she shares her expertise in intimacy, communication, emotional safety, and fostering trust in relationships. Her dynamic approach to therapy is both practical and compassionate, empowering couples to build deeper, more fulfilling connections.
In addition to her clinical work, Karimah is the creator and facilitator of the Building Bridges Couples Intensive, a signature in-person event designed to help couples strengthen their emotional and physical bonds. Through this program, she leads transformative workshops focused on communication, emotional mastery, and relationship resilience.
She is also the founder of two transformative programs: The Kings’ Table Men’s Forum and The Self Love Society Women’s Enrichment Group. These groups create safe, supportive spaces for men and women to engage in personal growth, meaningful dialogue, and relational healing. Through her practice, she dedicated a full year of volunteer service to the Emory United Methodist Church Marriage Ministry, hosting a series of impactful events focused on strengthening communication, fostering shared vision, and enhancing stress management within couples.
Her leadership and dedication have been recognized through her induction into Who’s Who in both 2002 (college years) and 2025. As an AASECT-Approved Continuing Education Provider, she is committed to advancing knowledge and skills in intimacy and relationship wellness. In the fall of 2025, she will expand her impact with the launch of online intimacy courses designed to help individuals and couples continue their journey toward deeper connection, stronger communication, and lasting passion.
Her commitment to helping others extends to her virtual Chapters of Love Book Club, a community where couples connect and grow together through literature.
Karimah enjoys traveling, cooking, and constantly pursuing spiritual, personal, and professional growth as she continues to inspire and impact the lives of those she serves.
