JULIA TRICKEY is an UK award winning botanical artist and experienced tutor of nearly twenty years. Over these years she has been particularly drawn to less than perfect specimens such as fading flowers, autumnal leaves and seed heads, often painting them larger than life. She has been awarded four RHS gold medals amongst many other awards and has exhibited her watercolours all over the world. Her work is held in the RHS Lindley Library, the Shirley Sherwood Collection, the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, Pittsburgh and the Chelsea Physic Garden Archives as well as many private collections. She currently tutors botanical art classes in the beautiful historic city of Bath, England and leads workshops for botanical art groups around the country and beyond.
