Julia Novak Smith is a retired special education teacher. With over three decades of experience, she has taught in Florida, Georgia and Washington state. She holds a bachelor's degree from University of South Florida, a master's degree from Florida State University, and a specialist degree from Georgia Southern University. In retirement, she founded a book club for working and retired teachers. She lives in Georgia with her husband of fifty-four years.
