About The Author
Jules Verne
Jules Verne was born in 1828 and initially pursued a conventional bourgeois French career. However, literary ambition soon took hold, and at the age of 20, he began publishing plays and short stories. By the end of his life in 1905, Verne had published over 60 books. He is best known for his works Journey to the Center of the Earth, From the Earth to the Moon, and Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.
