In some cases, very small pieces of fabric are used in combination with white fabric to create beautiful quilts. Projects can be made by combining different colors - whether in the fresh colors of spring, or in the warm colors of autumn, or in those of Christmas. These sizes offer sufficient variety to make many blocks. The squares can be cut from real scraps i.e. irregular shaped remnants, sometimes ignoring the grain. It is recommended to stay stitch the bias edges on triangles. Each quilt has a chart giving directions for quilts from cot to king size.
