About the Author
Juan Córdoba has lived in France, Spain and Mexico. After graduating from France's prestigious École Normale Supérieure, he taught Spanish in secondary and higher education for many years, and sat on the examination board for the agrégation, the country's highest teaching qualification. He then turned to publishing, managing various collections of educational material. He is a regular contributor to Assimil, with publications including phrasebooks, slang guides, exercise books and language learning courses. Equidistant between two countries, two languages and two cultures, he is also a translator of fiction and non-fiction, in Spanish and French.
