About The Author

Josh Frydenberg

Josh Frydenberg is a former Federal Treasurer of Australia and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party. He served in the House of Representatives from 2010 to 2022 as the Member for Kooyong. During his twelve years in Parliament, he held senior ministerial portfolios in the Abbott, Turnbull and Morrison governments. His stewardship of the Australian economy through the COVID-19 pandemic earned him broad recognition and respect as one of the most consequential Treasurers of the modern era. Since leaving parliament, Josh has been a powerful voice in the fight against antisemitism and hate. Josh is the Chairman of Goldman Sachs for Australia and New Zealand and lives in Melbourne with his wife and their two children.

Gideon Haigh has been a journalist since 1984, written fifty-two books, edited seven others, and contributed to more than a hundred newspapers and magazines. He now writes and podcasts with Cricket Et Al.
