About The Author
Jonathan Mark Eaton
Jonathan holds a PhD in Ancient History from Queen’s University, Belfast where he has also been employed as a tutor in the School of History and Anthropology. Jonathan currently holds the position of lecturer in Classics and Archaeology at Newcastle College. Jonathan is a regular book reviewer for Military History Monthly as well as being published in the journal Greece and Rome. He also contributes to the Wiley Blackwell volumes of Encyclopaedia of War, Encyclopaedia of the Roman Army, and Encyclopaedia of Ancient History.
