About the Author

Jonathan Hancock is a graduate of Oxford University, a double world record breaker and former World Memory Champion, and the author of many books on memory and learning. He has demonstrated his learning techniques on numerous radio and TV programs, run memory training courses in business and education, and now works as a teacher. In 2008 he joined forces with The Learning Skills Foundation to become Founder of The Junior Memory Championship, the first national memory competition for primary-school children.

Foreword by Professor Alan Baddeley. With degrees from the Universities of London, Princeton and Cambridge, he is a world authority on human memory. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society, the British Academy and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and Advisor to The Learning Skills Foundation. Alan Baddeley has a number of honorary degrees, and was awarded the CBE for his contribution to the study of memory.
