Critics Review

Jon has done it again! Everything he does with food just POPS * Nathan Anthony, Bored of Lunch *The most inspiring and down to earth chef we know * Kate & Kay Allinson, Pinch of Nom *The ultimate all-killer, no-filler recipe book for every occasion. Packed with down-to-earth, accessible recipes that you’ll want to make again and again. An absolute gem that banishes boring food from the kitchen for good! * Becky Excell *Jon’s story is one of hope and one you can’t fail to be moved by. His journey from young offender’s institute to chef and social media sensation is remarkable, and it was all down to people who gave him a chance and believed in him, coupled with his own determination. The recipes in this book have universal appeal – and, more importantly, they’re doable, not cheffy. This is food that will have you racing into the kitchen… fast. * Karen Barnes *

About The Author

Jon Watts

Jon Watts is a professional chef, recipe creator, and influential social media chef. After getting into serious trouble as a teenager, Jon was sentenced to six and a half years in a young offenders’ institute. He was determined not to fall into the vicious cycle of reoffending, so he took on every opportunity he could to learn and develop. He picked up cooking and was the first person in custody to achieve all three Duke of Edinburgh awards. After leaving, he secured a job at one of Jamie Oliver’s restaurants before setting up on his own. Jon has gained national exposure through his social media profile and TV appearances, such as on ITV’s This Morning. Away from cooking, Jon uses his story to inspire a range of audiences, from businesses to at-risk young people.
