Arriving on Earth, the Sons of Ares are taken to several critical points in pre-history to support the rise of Humanity, for in the end, Fedorov learns that we are the distant descendants of the Sons of Ares.

In a clever twist, the author of the Kirov Series has presented this next volume, #74, as a story told by one of his main characters, Anton Fedorov. Those who have not followed the series into the Encore season that began with volume #65 have missed a lot, and in this book, after Fedorov vanished in the City of night, we will get a tale told by Fedorov in the first person beginning simply: "My name is Anton Fedorov, and I was a sailor for most of my adult life, in fact a navigator on all the seas of the Earth, and thence into the heavens above to explore the darkness of Space."

A prolific writer with 75 books, John Schettler achieved early recognition in winning the Silver Medal for Science Fiction in Foreword Magazine's annual competion, and scoring a 9.5/10 with Reader's Digest for his 5-book Time Travel series opener, Meridian. He went on to author the longest story ever written, the massive 64 volume Kirov Series, also a Time travel Military Fiction and alternate history of WWII. John's latest work is a new Epic Fantasy series, The Chronicles of Innisfail, released April of 2022.
