A Goth elf steals the naughty list to find Krampus, but realizes his mistake too late. Can he save Santa and the naughty children from the underworld in time?
Can an elf who is more dark than glitter save Christmas and get himself off the naughty list when Christmas is suddenly canceled?
Jack Rumpus desperately wants a place where he belongs, but he hates all things happy and dreams of getting far away from the North Pole. Sure he belongs on the dark side of Christmas, he steals the naughty list to use as a map to find his idol, the Christmas-demon Krampus, who travels the world on Christmas Eve to punish all naughty children.
But Jack's dream turns into a nightmare when he finally meets his horned, devilish hero and learns that he is on Krampus' naughty list. And the Krampus does not play nice with the naughty children. Not at all. In fact, the Krampus shows he is really evil by attacking Santa Claus and dragging Jack's kinda-sorta girlfriend to the underworld.
Can this hapless helper use his crazy flying skills to rescue her and the naughty children in time to save Christmas?
If he can, Jack could get a Christmas surprise bigger than anything he's ever wanted. But, as he would say, this holiday is just... so... weird.

Something fresh and heart warming for Christmas.
And excellent and interesting short story.
Zany adventure full of Christmas cheer
Bad Elf and The Krampus manages to be both heartwarming and dark, while never neglecting the Christmas spirit. Jack, the bad elf, is naughty and nice and never boring.
Love, Love, Love it!
Could not put it down!

The ending was a total surprise
It was a cute and funny story! Lots of twists and turns, good vs. bad, magic, friendship and trust. It's a good read for anyone!
Another one that I loved!
Perfect for either Halloween or Christmas, with a mixture of holiday spirit and horror...just like Nightmare Before Christmas. Meant for when you need something that leaves you with a cheery feeling, but spiced with darkness and horror along the way.
John Rae is a produced screenwriter and author who writes about misfit characters on their misadventures.
