John N. Briere
John Briere, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, and a clinical psychologist at the Department of Emergency Psychiatric Services of LAC-USC Medical Center. He is author of editor of five books, two psychological tests, and numerous articles in the areas of child abuse, psychological trauma, and interpersonal violence.
